Professional Classes

What is a professional class?
A professional is someone who is a trained health care provider, such as an EMT, paramedic, nurse, respiratory therapist, dentist or physician. These professionals are required to maintain certification in health care provider level CPR (also known as professional rescuer CPR), ACLS, PALS or PHTLS as a requirement of employment.

How do I register?

ONLINE - You can use the links to the left or the class title below to view course descriptions and register online for a course.
FAX - choose the appropriate flier below, you will need to download the flier and fax it to the SFPA 415.543.0415
PHONE - call the SFPA at 415.543.1161 ext 0, hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm except holidays

We are offering some ACLS-Renewal and PALS-Renewal in Redwood City.
Can I take a renewal course?
A CURRENT AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA) PROVIDER CARD is required to take a Renewal Course. You will be asked to show your card during the course. No other provider cards will be accepted. CURRENT means you are taking the class on or before the "Recommended Date of Renewal". The AHA honors the card for the entire month in which it expires.
